Lim Dong Wook is a jewelry designer and the founder of MIK.
In 2006, inspired by the no-tie trend, he introduced buttoncover jewelry as a new way to adorn the front of shirts.
In 2008, he presented a master’s thesis on its design and structure and launched MIK in the same year, establishing buttoncovers as a refined category in jewelry.
Today, he continues his research and practice in pursuit of jewelry that embodies better value through a balance of function and beauty.
